On 7th November 2011 the Institute of Macedonian Literature celebrated its 30 year anniversary in the Rectorat of the University Sv."Kiril i Metodij". Dr. Jovanka Drugovac Jones was presented with an award for her outstanding contribution in the development and advancement of the Institute.
The award was presented in the presence of the Rector of the University, the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, the Minister for Science, the Croatian Ambassador to Macedonia, Macedonian archbishops and many academics, university professors, directors of national institutes and scientists.
